Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 23.06.2026
This website is operated by Subvisual, Lda. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit subvisual.com, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Portuguese ePrivacy framework.
Data Controller
Subvisual, Lda. is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us at contact@subvisual.com.
What We Collect
We use the following third-party analytics and advertising tools to understand how visitors interact with our website and to measure our marketing:
- Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd) — measures pages visited, referral source, device and browser type, and approximate, IP-derived location.
- Contentsquare (Contentsquare SAS) — analyses on-page behaviour such as clicks, scrolling and navigation to help us improve the experience.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) — measures the effectiveness of our LinkedIn advertising and may associate visit data with your LinkedIn account.
- Snitcher (Snitcher B.V.) — identifies the company or organisation associated with a visitor's IP address for B2B marketing purposes.
We do not use these tools to collect names, email addresses or other directly identifying information about you as an individual.
Cookies and Consent
The tools above set first- and third-party cookies and similar identifiers. They are non-essential and only activate after you provide consent through our cookie banner. You can refuse them, or withdraw consent at any time, using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer — without any impact on your use of the website.
Legal Basis
We rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) as the legal basis for setting non-essential cookies and processing the data described above. You are free to refuse or withdraw consent without consequence.
Third-Party Processors and Transfers
Google, Contentsquare, LinkedIn and Snitcher process data on our behalf as described above. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; where they do, transfers rely on the applicable safeguards (such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses). Each provider publishes its own privacy and cookie policies with full details.
Data Retention
Each provider retains data according to its own retention policies. Aggregated and anonymised analytics may be retained for longer periods.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time
- Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@subvisual.com.
Data Security
We select processors that maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures. Since we do not store personal data on our own servers beyond what is processed by the tools above, our direct data-security obligations are limited to the proper configuration and oversight of these services.
Updates to This Policy
This policy will be revised if our data collection or processing methods change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
